Please reach us at 716.998.7728 if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The basic answer is somewhere to wash your pet, towels are nice to have on hand but not required, outlets to plug in our equipment and an area to put our grooming table to perform the haircut. Every client prefers something different. We can groom in basements, garages, in your backyard, in your kitchen or we can simply do everything in the bathroom if there is enough space. We have lots of different options to fulfill our clients needs and can adjust to almost everyone's home.
We specialize in dogs and cats, but we also offer grooming services for rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small animals.

It is important to disclose any behavioral issues before we book your appointment. A lot of pets will benefit from House Call grooming if the have issues going in public and can be reactive around other pets. We do ask if your dog has a history of aggression with people that you purchase a muzzle (we recommend cage muzzles to optimize their comfort in a possibly stressful situation). We also ask that you work with them to desensitize them to the muzzle to decrease their stress levels while it is on and help deescalate their behavior. Muzzles can be a helpful and calming tool to keep both us and your dog safe. We proceed from there with caution and safety is our number one priority. If we deem the service unsafe for us or your dog, we will stop the service and come up with a plan.
Cat scratches and bites are a huge liability of cat grooming due to higher risk of infections. If your cat has a history of aggression with grooming please let us know. Being in a different environment could help them relax and we are willing to try, but first sign of aggression on cats that have been previously grooming aggressive we will stop service and refer to vet grooming where they can safely sedate them for everyones safety.
We do not groom pets with any possible infectious diseases. We do not groom pets showing symptoms of Lethargy. That being said, house call grooming is very beneficial for pets with known health conditions like Heart murmurs or other known heart diseases, seizures, limited mobility, if they are blind or deaf, etc. This service is exceptionally the best option before trying vet grooming for these pets since they have the familiarity of their home and one on one attention with no unsupervised kennel time they may receive in a salon. Please make these conditions known to us so we know what type of critical symptoms to look for and first signs of stress we will pause service and re-evaluate.
